River Queen
Standing proud in a flat sandy Northern Territory river, this magnificent river gum has a presence all her own. Her pale, weathered trunk and spreading crown rise above the dry golden grasses, shaped by years of heat, drought and rain. To me, she is a queen of the inland landscape — strong, resilient and beautiful.
