Bend in the River
Along the Barcoo River at Tambo, magnificent old river gums follow the bends of the watercourse, offering shade and shelter from the harsh western sun. I wanted to capture the coolness beneath their spreading branches, the glimpse of water beyond, and the brilliant light of the open grasslands — a quiet, familiar beauty of inland Queensland.
